City of Heroes Paragon Times: G.T. President Marchand hits 70
 If you've been keeping up on the rich lore of NCsoft's City of Heroes/City of Villains,
then you'd probably know that G.T Marchand has just celebrated his
seventieth year in office. In case you're new to the game, Marchand has
had a long career and illustrious career as president of his nation the
Rogue Isles.
The article on the Paragon Times discussed the background of this
man and his clashes with the villain Recluse. In the battle which drove
Recluse from the Rogue Isles, Marchand was mortally wounded and is now
forced to live his life as a cyborg, forever encased in armor designed
by his science adviser Dr. Aeon.
Ever since that battle, he has
never had any real competition for his position. After all, how could
anyone establish a decent campaign against him when he controls every
aspect of the nation from the Media, to pledges of allegiance from the
