SOTNW: PVP Details Released
Test yourself against other players for one of the greatest challenges
in the new world. Proving your worth and besting your opponent can
provide immense satisfaction. Whether you are by dueling another family
or joining your friends in faction warfare, PvP in Sword of the New
World is an incredible experience.
Forms of PvP:
Family vs. Family Dueling: Duels are fought between two
families in a formal combative environment. A ranking system tracks
duels and compiles a list of standings, showing all pioneers which
family is truly number one in the new world. Also, top ranked duelists
can win special prizes during the Dueling League Season.
Clan Wars: When two clans have a dispute, this is the
honorable way to settle it. Clan Wars can take place in any combat
zone, and offer players a chance to earn recognition and standing for
their clan.
Faction vs. Faction: Conflict between the Royalists and
Republicans has been waging for years, and shows no sign of ending.
While the fighting hasn't yet spilled into the streets of major cities,
the two factions commonly clash in the wilderness of the new world.
Arena Play: 1 vs. 1, 2 vs. 2, 16 vs. 16 and more; the arena
offers a variety of combat experiences. Capture the flag, or be the
last one standing. Perfect for fun, impromptu PvP!
