Episode 2 Part 1 Status Update
Please refer to the following thread with regards to updates on how Episode 2 Part 1 is progressing internally. I’ll be updating this thread as and when I receive any updates on how the testing is progressing.

Hello guys,
Unfortunately after a long, hard meeting with the senior producers and CCR, we have accepted that the current version of Episode 2 code on our test server is not supportable by both CCR and Codemasters. We’ve spent significant effort working to get the Western version of Episode II part 1 live, and as time goes on our branch of code from the main Korean base has become more disparate and solid bug fixes are harder to achieve. This is at odds with CCR’s strategy for global deployment of RFO and we need to move onto a more recent code branch to expedite the implementation of critical fixes. For this reason, the distribution of Episode 2 onto both the internal and external test server has been delayed.
We now have to take this disappointing news and with CCR figure out when we will be able to roll out the content update.
Both Codemasters and CCR apologies for this sudden change of plan, but we’re confident the new version of Episode 2 code will result in a much smoother implementation process – and there may even be some additional content thrown in

Update 15/02/07 - 09:57 NST (GMT): We’re still having issues with the client that CCR gave us. The game is crashing whenever it is booted up. CCR are investigating the issue and we hope to receive a fix shortly. |
