Flyff :The Best Players Don't Share Drops With thier Support.
First off, this isn't a flame.
I'm a lvl 95 FS RM, 85 PSY among other things (I'm pretty sure many of you are higher and more experienced). I began to realise that the greediest of players were often the best to get experients points from. I have realised why.
So to this aspect I would give my advice to the two most divisble communities of Flyff:
To the Damage Dealers.
You should be spending phenominally more energy and penya on training. An FS assist can get by forever on Wedge and Flurry for aoe and crucio, and even less for regular damage dealers. An FS that glows like a lightbulb is not much better than one that doesnt. (side note some FS Assist tend to run out of mp, buying a couple out of store for them is a good way to keep them quiet when the goods start dropping)
Take as much of the high money drops as you possibly can (if not all), but don't waste it on costume items.
-Top Gear. Use your unshared wealth to upgrade your weapons. Element some if you can afford to. Upgrade ur body armor add some +att or + def or + hp. Make sure that ur gear is in the best condition for training. You NEED the bulk of the funding.
- Lead a Party. Use your unshared wealth to buy a full shout. Then buy a party (20 lvl or higher). If you cannot afford a party then make 1. And Keep it full!!! Link attack means faster faster kills. Faster kills means more xp which means that the FS wouldnt want to leave even if u take all the hot drops.
- Buy Upcuts. Party lead + Upcuts means better xp. And if ur sucking as crucio PSY, buy more pills and candy or even buy Grilled Eel.
- Stay Alert. When your on upcut's time is money. Fight effectively minimize your break times. And watch for mobs spawning on your FS. If your FS dies he is more inclined to get greedy and want drops.
- Use food. The worse thing ever is partying with a lvl 98 blade who wanted me to heal and not HC when I knew he wasnt fooding. Their are pills and starcandies. Spamming StarCandies and Pills in order to AOE more mobs at a time, or allow your RM to keep HC up as much as possible is imperitive.
To the Full Support:
- Demand the best performance from your partner, or demand the best drops! If you can't get either, then perhaps it is time for you to find a partner elsewhere.
- Don't leech or get plvld. People may argue with the definition of leeching and plvl'd by saying that all FS Assist and RM are getting Plvld. That's nonsense. Once you keep the buffs on as much as possible, HC if u need to and you can never be leech.
- Do CW. The second you hit 75 you want to start finding people to do CW with, as you get higher try and do it with less and less people until about 90 where you can pretty much handle being an RM on your own.
- Hustle the Market. Buy low sell high. Lots of people full shouting to buy spro at 4 mil. When some 1 shouts to sell spro offer for 3 mil or 3.5 mil and sell it back. Excellent way of making money.
- Ask for drops. Don't beg or throw a hissy fit. Generally excellent RMs warm the hearts of their partners, even the extremely core ones. But don't get your hopes up because if your partner is greedy, he might just be ambitious. |
