Healder Build Discussion
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
By baka77

Ok, so I'm wondering how best to set up a healer's stat build.

Obviously, Chi & Wisdom (Kung Fu) are going to be important, but are some stats more important than others?

To me, it seems like strength won't get many points at all (if any) & health will get some points but not much since you can heal. I'm thinking that the rest of the stats should be split about equally. Chi is important to cast healing spells etc. Wisdom is important for the hand-to-hand attack accuracy & damage. Dexterity is kinda important to get some evasion & crits.

So here is my guess for a basic breakdown of how to distribute stat points...

Strength = 0%
Chi = 40%
Wisdom = 40%
Health = 10%
Dexterity = 10%

Can anyone who has experience with this comment on how the best healers are built & if the above distribution will work ok for PvE & PvP? Thanks!!!

healer have lot of fist style,few Chi Kung and alot of healing.

So... for healer,its best that you focus on Essence the 1st,Dexterity 2nd, Constitution 3rd,Wisdom 4th.Why

Dexterity? Well you have a lot of healing ability which give you like 4/10 of your health for 15 second every 3 second.Since healer have only a few Chi Kung(including damage over time Very Happy) Ability and ALOT OF FIST STYLE.The type of build for them is to get as close to your enermy as possible, except for warrior since they're good at MELEE, and do all jacking with your fist Twisted Evil.

There no point of strenght since its give you like...2-4 damage per point...its alot of defense if you chose it first but healer is not really good at that.Which i think is more "bonus" for warrior...

Why few on wisdom? Eh...in my opinon, Chi Kung ability only work again Chi kung damage,accurate(which i think is defense),dodge, and critical rating.Which means...its work again ALL KIND OF RANGE ATTACK, NOT PHYSICAL, CAUSE THAT IS FOR DEXTERITY.The most important things from wisdom to healer is damage.You need to increase wisdom so you can deal alot of damage from far range, which you have like 2-3 Chi Kung ability...not that i know of in like...100 level later.Other effect on wisdom doesn't really worth much because if you ever come across a range user, the point is to get close to them and deal alot of damage...so don't bother with the dodge again "range" or whatever.

Since you have alot of fist style(including stun Very Happy)...that where dexterity come in so you can dodge and...jack them off faster.

Of course...healer don't really need lot lot of health, since they have healing.A good tatic is to stun them, then heal, or run with lightfoot then heal...if there is a world PvP.

If you ever reset or stats or cheng increase...
Essence:30%
Dex:30%
Wisdom:10%
Constitution:20%
Strenght:0%

I also, I notice if you first increase on the first stats.You will get a extra amount of them.Like...if i increase my Essence fist...i will get ALOT OF VITAL ENERGY.Its only work on reset though...so I don't know.

P.S. hope is not to long, but i just speak my mind Very Happy

    sorry, what? are you mad? neither of those builds are going to be of much use as a healer.

    healers need:
    minimum wis (that means 10 at RC1 and 12 at FD1, to wear relics)
    some con
    a bit more ess
    and EVERYTHING ELSE str:dex (i recommend 5:3 str:dex or 3:2 str:dex)

    rationale: wisdom is useless for healers, their nukes aren\'t worth levelling and wis gives no other benefits that a good wis buff won\'t do better at.

    con is essential, but it costs x2. my healer hit 35 con at RL1; at SM10 she still has 35 con. get yr hp from items and buffs.

    ess is important, but not that important: you just need enough to last in battle. first rule of thumb: ve = hp, approximately (altho i know excellent healers at high SM with only 1.8K ve after their buffs). my healer hit 50 ess at RL1, she now has 55 ess. second rule of thumb: if yr running out of ve in combat, put some more points into it over the next few lvls; if not, ignore it.

    dex is necessary for dodge and attack rating, str is necessary for def and dam - every spare point you can muster should be put into these. a healer who can\'t stand in the middle of a melee and heal isn\'t worth squat - hp won\'t help here, only dodge and def.

    there are excellent healer builds (for SF healers, but all roles are the same, regardless of clan) posted on the 9D mmosite forum by Zanpakutou: read them and memorise them, cos Zan knows the score.

    This is just my opinions on a healer build. Without smashes and hard hitting attacks, a healer doesn\'t have much chance in PvP for most of the game. Therefore, putting more DEX than necessary for the weapon seems pointless to me. Also, I prefer to put quite a lot in ESS, giving me high VE. This lets me fight longer, and A F K level my buffs for a longer time (with a caveman macro of course). I believe STR should be the highest, main concern.

    I\'m not that smart on builds myself, but those are my thoughts.
