Mining for 70
"Mining for 70 " by Jibrelle
I'm just a level 69 Elementor trying to level and become stronger. My goal right now is to become level 70 and get my new skills. I have a companion that's always with me no matter what. His name is KiraKun he's quite a good healer and has nice buffs for his level. But sometimes I feel as if he's mad at me for some reason. Well my adventure starts here Kira and me our taking a break from training so we sit and talk for bit.
“Oh I'm so close to becoming level 70. KiraKun don't you miss your BP?” Kira looks at me with a surprised face and tell me, “Well you're the reason I haven't played on it, forcing me to make a Full Support assist for your own selfish reasons. Sometimes I don't understand you Jib. We both decide to level my BP and you tell me to hold on because you want to check your bank on Jibrelle. And then suddenly we're back here at Carrier Bombs. Jib, are you even listening to me? Jib, JIB!!”
At that moment I wasn't paying attention to him but just staring towards town. I turn to him and say,
“Huh, what is it.” Kira pouts his lips and tells me, “You don't love me anymore.” “Kira that's not true it's just that I saw something shiny over there.” He stands up to look towards town to see what exactly I'm looking at. “For the love of… stop staring at the people buffing in Darkon!”
I stare in awe, “But they're shiiiny.” Kira looks at me in disappointment and says, “I swear you have ADD sometimes.” I turned to him and said, “Kira don't you remember back when we started playing this game. It was your AoE assist HyperHealer and me.” Kira turns to me and says, “Yea… those were the good old days. Back when I used to actually level faster than you and you paid attention more. You don't even listen to me anymore and now you just grind away till you die; and then blame me for it… *stares at Jibrelle*” I turned to Kira and sighed, “Why are you holding a grudge against me Kira?” Kira replied with “Oh I'm not holding one; I'm just stating a fact.”
Kira says “agro” and runs off all of a sudden. I turn around to see 3 aggressive monsters near me while I'm sitting unbuffed. I stand up to start AoEing and Kira had already fully buffed me while I grabbed all those aggros with one hit.
Back then, we were able to train together with our main accounts with not too much of a problem. But, now we are forced to take turns leveling one of our main characters at a time. I can't help that I want to level higher and higher, but it's so much easier to level my character than it is his… not to mention that the higher I go, the more powerful I get. Soon I will get to the point where I can take down players' level 80+ before they even spot me then no one will be able to control me!
***A few hours of grinding pass. ***
“The time has come!!! I'm FINALLY level 70. Yes, I have my new skills I will now become unstoppable. Hmm what should I do now? I KNOW!! I will try to get into the mines…..Dekane Mines!! Kira opens his eyes wide then turns to me and says, “Are you Insane?” I turn around silently and get on my broom. I start flying towards town; as soon as he found out I flew off he screamed out, “Fine I'll find a Psychiper to train with.” As I fly off I get angry at the little comment but I still carry on towards town.
I head to Darkon town and start to gather supplies for my adventure. I end up buying 5 packs of star candy and 5 packs of refreshers. Then I walked over to the weapon NPC to fix my staff which cost me 50k. I quickly got on my board and started flying west towards the mines. On my way there I see many people training. I was thinking, Will this really be the last time I see the outside world? I have to stop thinking about horrible things. I finally got to the entrance and get off my broom. I couldn't believe my knees were actually shaking. I don't want to die!! I've worked to hard to get to where I am.
People have entered and never returned. I used to know someone, we were close friends. Her name was Buriana; she helped us make something out of ourselves. She would help me and my beloved Hyper train. But she slowly surpassed us to the point where she was ready to train in Dekane Mines. Now Buriana was a courageous and powerful knight. But I was still afraid… afraid that she wouldn't come back to us. Sad to say my prediction was correct. It's been a month now and I haven't heard any news from her. I feel as though she's slowly disappearing from everyone's hearts. But I won't forget her. I will gather the courage to enter and surpass any obstacles. I will find you again Buriana, even if it's just a pile of bones!
I make my way towards the entrance and get off my broom. I see Rankashu at the entrance and start talking to him. He says, “Speaking to me is already dangerous as it is. What do you want?” I ask him how to get into the Dekane Mines. He stares at me for a while and says, “You MUST be crazy if you want to know about the mine behind me! If you really wish to enter the mines…talk to Cell. He is somewhere in Darkon1 village.” I get on my broom and start flying east towards the lodelight I spot Cell from afar and jump off to talk to him. I ask him about the mines and he tells me, “Are you saying that's you are going to the most dangerous Dekanes? I say “YES!!!!” He says “Then visit Dwarpet whose name is Rankashu instead of me and ask him to let you know the answer to my question. He is in front of the Dekane mine.” I go back to Rankashu and tell him what Cell had told me. He says, “Oh Cell! He is really a bother. I have written this message for him. Please deliver it to him.” I go back to Cell and I give him the message. He then says to me, “Thank you. This is the ID card into the mine. Do not think ill of me when you're dead and become a vindictive spirit. It is your choice.” Now I have received the card to enter the mines. As I was flying off I was thinking “How can Cell say those things to me. I'm now afraid more than ever.” I get off my board at the cave and talk to Rakashu. He now believes I can Overcome any dangers. As I get closer to the door of the mines. I see a switch then use the card on it.
As I enter, the first thing I see is a narrow path. I start to walk forward and see a lot of boxes and rubble on the floor. I follow the railroad tracks into the unknown. As I go in further I see another narrow path. I get to the end of the path and see 2 signs heading in different directions. Which way should I go? I decide to go left I stand there and look around.
I hear some weird sounds. I really don't know what to expect from such a place. Will I die instantly? Will I be able to explore the whole area? Will I find Buriana?
Questions kept running through my head but they could only be answered by me continuing on this journey. As I walked deeper in I got a chill I felt someone looking at me. I slowly turn around and notice an aggressive Keakoon Worker. I start taking a couple of steps back but he quickly starts chasing me. I run for my dear life only to run into another agro. Is this the end of me? I almost forgot the one thing a mage can do to escape any situation. BLINKPOOL!! I cast blinkpool as fast as I can and get away from those dreadful creatures. Sigh “I barely got away with my life.” Since that room was a dead end, I think I should try going the other way this time.
I ran back where the signs were and decided that a room with a dead end had nothing for me in it. I must finish exploring this mine and find my friend. Zigzagging a bit, I find another room with blue flowers in it. After pausing for a bit to gather my courage, I run through with my eyes closed screaming LEEEEEEERRROOOYYYYY to myself. I made it through in one piece.
What is this strange room? It's bigger than the last room and there are more flowers in here. These strange Pinky RoachFl are way higher than me. I am sure that I cannot take more than a single hit from any of them. This is strange, I still haven't seen a single person, and if this is the famous “pinky room” then there should be at least one person here. Wait, there is someone sitting in the corner of the room.
OMFGWTFBBQ!1 ITS BURIANA !! She's alive!
I approach Buriana after I noticed that she is rocking back and forth, banging her head against the wall.
When I get closer, Buriana mutters “…healer?” I said “No, I am not a healer! It's me, Jibrelle! Buri, snap out of it!” After a short pause I slap Buriana a little bit and she comes to. She glares at me and with one slap, knocks me down to 10% of my HP.
Buriana looks at me for a moment then says “Oh, Jibrelle! I didn't notice it was you; last time I saw you, you were a mage.” I responded with “Yea well that was a long time ago and you still haven't left this cave! Buriana, why haven't you come out of this mine!?” She turns to me and says “I'm still waiting for a healer”. I reply with a short pause and a “>.>” afterwards.
I recruit Buriana into my guild because we have some RingMasters that can heal her while she trains. My long and arduous journey to save my friend from the solitude of a lonely prison has come down to getting her a healer…
What a waste of my time!
