PT Lvling for Force

By Datsmah

I was wondering how do we actually lvl the pts for force? It seems as though it doesnt lvl only based on the lvl of the spells that are in a specific field (e.g. holy, fire, wind, water, terra). So does the pts lvl just based on how many times we use the spells in each force type? And say our spells reach GM lvl. Will we continue gaining pts when we use a GM spell? Thanks for the help!

your welcome I hope it made sense lol... ppl think the PT skill system is complicated at first but this is it and once you understand its very simple.

further more you charcter sats do very very small boosts really its just for gear certifacation. Its your choice to max them...I guess at cap at high levels yuo will find it helps some...but will it make or break you inpvp ...nah... not if your in a proper party and doing your role.

melee = slight increase to damage with melee weapons ...like 3-5 extra damage per PT... so at first not really notciable especially since weapons have a damage range and random + Vs type of armor + Vs lvl differance between players/mobs etc Plus and relevent possible ele resistances if you happen to put ele talics on melee weapons.

Ranged = slight increase in Player SP. note its a very small ammount that adds up over time but if your a ranger meh... but can be useful for melee guys. also recommend at least PTing to lvl 31 ranger gear for use while running cause it gets a run speed bonus. Also worth noting is that ranger armor does increase attack speed on weapons as well even melee (not cast time on spells saddly) so Ive seen some high lvl warriors use ranger armor for faster damage.

Force = increased ammount of FP. again not enough for a mage to care but rangers and melees may wanna do this as tehre lvling bonus dont help much in this area and force PT is easy to do.

unit/summon/launcher = applies to there cert on gear as far as I can tell..unit you get MAU upgrades as you get higher...not sure if summon does FK all TBH and Ive never been accr so no clue if itt effects anything tho logically Id say it raises accruacy a lil tiny bit.

shield = ability to use higher lvl shields. also ppl swear you get beter block rate eventually as it gets higher...Ive not been able to confirm this sorry.

Def PT= aside from all else and using your porper gear.. this is by far teh most important PT as is goes up you gain extra HP... mind you its still like + 5-15 HP per PT but that really does add up and worth getting it when you can.

for the most part I dont think capping PT is worth teh time sink and money sink in pots. I advise ppl to put your PTs where you can level to there gear of nest sett above you... example

Im lvl 46 Ill make sure my pts are so I can wear all my gear of 47 before I lvl even more once I get closer to 47.. so when I do dlvl I can use my gear.

some ppl like to do more like

say Im 31 and have pts for lvl 35 gear so if I get a type C I can use it.

in the end do whats fun with out burning out.

good luck,
