Common Skills, Skills every class/race can learn
Skills are basically separated into 3 groups
Melee, Range and Racial
In this FAQ i'll be giving details on Melee and Ranged skills only These skills are applicable to ALL Races I have a guide on the Accretain Race skills somewhere in this forum These skills are based on the jRF site, so some of them may change in RF-ph Made a few changes and added details to some skills.
Also Skills are learned at a certain PT lvl only Beginner is from 1-30 Mid lvl is 31-40 Upper is 40-50
The more you use a skill, the higher it's lvl goes. The higher the lvl, the better the skill gets(more damage, more def, longer duration, etc.)
Let's start, shall we?
Melee Beginner Class Shining Cut : deals higher damage than normal attack, usable with Sword, Knife, Axe and Spear Blow : deals higher damage than normal attack, usable with Knife, Axe and Hammers Prick : deals higher damage than normal attack, usable with Sword and Spear Wild Rage : Increases attack power Accurate : Accuracy Increases Extending : Melee weapons can hit farther
Middle Class Death Blow : damages enemy and decreases target's attck power Clout Chop : Damaging attack from below Death Hack : Hits target multiple times Aid Stretching : Buffs last longer Concession : Evades 1 attack (damage that's supposed to go to you, goes to either party to the attacker, not sure which one) Dizzy : Removes the effects of your target's shield for a fixed amount of time(higher lvl increases success chance of skill)
Upper Class Deep Injury : hits all enemies around you Pressure : You jump and attack from above, target's attack power is lowered Slug Flat : Strong damage (ignores part of target's armor, not sure) Bullseye : Increases critical rate Slam : damages target and pushes them back
Ranged Beginner Class Fast Shot : ranged skill attack Quarrel Reload : ranged attack speed increases Precision : raises ranged accuracy
Middle Class Multiple Shot : attack multiple targets (has an arc area effect) Aiming Shot : takes longer to attack but accuracy is greatly increased Wide range : Attack range is increased Evasion : increases evasion rate when using ranged weapons
Upper Class Destructive shot : uses up all mana in exchange for significantly increased attack damage Wild Shot : fires multiple random shots in an area (usefull in wars when you have problems targeting enemies) Clinching : Increases critical rate with ranged weapon. |

Wow talk about resurrecting an old thread.
Revisions lang:
All skills work on the following principle:
Higher tier skills (expert, elite) are available only if your initial class is specialized in that skill tree, or you cross-classed into that skill tree.
warrior classes - melee
ranger classes - range
spiritualist classes - force
specialist class - not allowed to learn higher level skills unless cross classed.
Unlocking higher level skills:
Expert - 30 basic level skill PT
Elite - 50 basic skill PT, 50 expert skill PT
Master - not yet implemented
Note: players who get elite skills before L40 are stuck with 7 max skill PT. This is enough to get ONE skill to level 2. I suggest getting a buff to L2 since it benefits the greatest from skill accessories. (I spent L36-39 with L6 bull's eye)
Descriptions: (only those with changes/additional info)
Melee skills:
from observation the 3 basic attack skills are identical except for the weapon that is allowed to use it.
new names:
shining cut -> slash
blow -> bash
prick -> blitz (I think this is the slowest of the three, but then again, it could just be the weapons allowed for this skill)
Expert melee:
Note: at equal level, all attack skills do the same damage. (For death blow, make sure the enemy is really close)
Death Blow -> explosive attack centered on the warrior (circular area of effect) The closer the enemy, the higher the damage.
Clout chop -> massive backhand sweep hits the target and all enemies behind it. wide cone shaped AOE starting from the target.
Death hack -> single target 3 hit attack. Cheapest in terms of FP cost.
Duration -> extends the duration of skill buffs (does not affect class skills)
Avoidance -> COUNTERATTACK. when using a melee weapon, there is a random chance that an incoming melee attack will MISS, and you will hit the attacker. (PROBLEM: when running away from a raider you will counter, then the rest of the raiders catch up to you and you're dead. When running, equip a ranged weapon.)
Lunge: supposedly ignores defense granted by shields, other say it lowers block rate. No idea really what's the truth.
Elite melee:
Note: at equal level, all attack skills do the same damage. (For spin slice, make sure the enemy is really close)
Spin Slice - spin around and hit all enemies around you. (circular AOE centered on the warrior.)
Pressure - Jump and downward blow. enemies behind the target also get damaged. Narrow cone AOE starting from the target.
Slug flat - slow single target attack, lowest FP cost
slam - removes ALL buffs and debuffs on the warrior. Any buffs cast again will gain PT. long cooldown though.
Don't have a ranger, can anyone post? |

Ranger Skills:
Basic:
Fast Shot: Usable for all ranged weapons - shoots twice at a target
Rapid Reload: Buff - increases character's ranged attack speed. The higher the level, the bigger the attack speed boost.
Precision: Buff - as the name implies, increases the ranged attack accuracy. The higher the level, the more accurate you become.
Expert:
Multi-Shot: Bow-only skill - single charged shot but has a small AOE effect
Aiming shot: Gun and Throwing Weapon only - single-target charged shot
Agility: Buff - increases Avoidance rating. The higher the level, the higher the chance you can dodge.
Wide Range: Buff - increases attack range of character. The higher the level, the further you can strike.
Elite:
Destructive Shot: Bow and Throwing Weapon only - Single target high-powered shot
Wild Shot: Gun only - Spray of shots on a target, with a large AOE effect. The closer the victims are to the main target, the higher the damage(confirm please?)
Snipe: Buff - Increases the chance of a critical hit per attack. The higher the level, the higher the chance of scoring a critical. |
