KR RFO went f2p!
By Civilunit

Mmmm, i sure do love free games. sometimes i am roaming the interenet and you just find a free game. which is the best kind of free game, a found game.

I love free games because i never have to complain about them, oh of course i can be asked what components would increase my user experince and give a decent responce.

But honostly, i can always wrap it up with, "Hey its free!" which means it doesnt cost me anything but time. When your time is worthless an so is the game then it becomes priceless.

Now for starters i don't so much think a RMT system should be for every game, but i think its a godsent for smaller games. you know, if you don't have blizzard, SOE, Square enix, funding your game. Because don't get me wrong, i love the games out there by these smaller company's. RF included!

I just don't feel i should have to pay for a defective product if i don't want to.

if RFonline screws up and basicly makes it so my gaming experince is impacting that wasted money on my part. i didn't really play this month because my class got hosed with bugs, but i still paid the 15 bucks anyways.

Personaly, i think it would be great if RF was F2P, though i doubt it will come true. CM doesnt seem like the type that would go for it...that and for a RMT system to work, you have to apply more effort to get more payoff.

a real interesting game being made right now is from those Guys who made Fly for fun, its called Rappelz. I have to admit it is of surprising visual quality, for me i never much care for graphics.

I still enjoy getting my freak on one of those old Fashion Mucks, MUDS and other text based pleasure just for the 'novel book' exsperince. I mean honostly, where else are you going to find an endless supply of nerds without leaving your house for a 'magic the gathering' card store or public library...do nerds still hang out there, i hear they have allot of books. nerds still use books right? they arn't all using PDA's now are they? well anyways....

My foundess memory's will probably ALWAYS ride in single player games.
Where were you when you first played doom?
Decent?
System shock
Wing commander
Sim City
Resident Evil
command and Conquer
Ultima underworld

the list could be rather long depending on your generation with a PC. These games sucked us in and didn't let us go, we didn't want them too.

Though i have to admit, MMO's always ammount to my most funniest memory's in online gaming.

Heck i burst into giggles just thinking about the early days of team fortress classic for the half life engine. do we all remember the sound the turret guns make when they detect you? that thing should be used in TV advertisement, all us geeks would be poised up like meerkats, *BeepBeep!* Wha?! who, where? get down! where is it coming from!

In the good old day's you would have to actualy have to have FRIENDS to enjoy your games with human interaction, but now with the internet, i can hate every single one of you and not be worried that you still wont be there tomorow to try and kick my ass.
